We seek the commitment of business organizations to commit to the program and provide an internship to a selected candidate.
The design of the internship will be left up to the organization, but must include the following:
- a paid work term of at least 12 weeks, commencing on or about May 1, 2012
- minimum monthly remuneration of approximately $3,000
- rotation of the intern, where possible, through the core functional areas of the organization including a rotation with some exposure to the President’s office or the head of a division
There are many benefits to the participating business organization. Those benefits include:
- direct benefits from highly motivated young leaders to provide fresh perspectives to the organization
- exposure to future business leaders of the community
- valuable exposure to the staff and students of the University of Ottawa, Carleton University and Algonquin College for future recruitment
